Converting to DVD

hello, first post apologise in advance if i'm repeating other threads (have had brief , can't see recent!).

have bought imac first time , have made myself slideshow on iphoto of newborn son. i'm looking burn it'll play on dvd player family.

need converter or possible on over imac? don't think have idvd appears have been best way in past.

how burn video dvd in burn:

example below uses .avi file, can applied .mo4 or .mov file​
