hi,
doing clean install of mba 2011, , found cmd-r boots internet recovery mode instead of recovery partition, though have recovery partition.
have recovery partition because "diskutil list" shows it, , guest account appropriately reboots special safari-only mode (which found on recovery partition).
here process led problem:
1. clean install of lion on mba 2011 (using sd card appropriate lion image)
2. updated 10.7.3.
3. enable filevault 2 , find mac.
afterward, on boots, see both account , guest account (which reboots system safari-only mode). on cmd-r, boots internet recovery mode instead of recovery partition. pressing "alt/option" on boot shows os volume, not recovery hd.
have idea why this, , how resolve it?
many thanks!
bump! i've had same thing happen.
noticed if entered network information (after holding down option key), try internet restore next time did cmd-r. highly annoying least.
solution reinstall lion using app app store (fortunately had saved copy before running first time upgraded) , recreates recovery hd , stuff.
bigger issue have slow internet connection in country live in, , after reinstalling 10.7.3 still needs software updates, takes agonizingly long time. restored time machine backup takes forever too.
i'd know if there's way use installer recreate recovery hd rather go through entire painful process again.
