Where is iOS 6 in Mountain Lion?

so have haven't noticed, apple announced mountain lion today drawing more ios, additions ios 5. imessage, reminders, notification center, etc.

mountain lion par ios 5, when should released @ approx same time ios 6. surely, apple doesn't want start tradition of adding things ios add them os x year later. there must parallel development in play. hoping there large cues ios 6 here, no. major feature not in ios gatekeeper, allows user decide apps able dl (mas or non-mas). possibly coming ios???

think mountain lion year behind, or think when ios 6 previewed apple show additions mountain lion also?

since can apps app store on non-jailbroken iphones, i'd "gatekeeper" implemented on iphone.
