Removing Items From iCloud Photostream But They Come BACK!?

i trying remove photo stream have imported pictures events wish keep.

when remove entire photo stream on imac redownload images ipad , iphone.

repeats non stop.

wtf?

follow not have time this, have had enough of photostream until can remove items wish photostream on imac , have spread other devices, import images stream events in iphoto shall disable photostream indefinitely substantial waste of little free time have attempting work correctly. , feel far more efficient manual import when home.

 

do chance have "automatic upload" enabled in iphoto? imagine following happening if do:

* take photos on iphone , ipad, added photo stream

* iphoto downloads photos photo stream since they're new

* delete photos photo stream in iphoto

* import same photos through itunes syncing iphone , ipad

* iphoto sees new photos coming in , adds them photo stream, per description of automatic upload: "send new photos photo stream"

if have automatic upload enabled, go iphoto / photo stream settings , disable it. can continue using method of manually importing photos iphoto without them being re-added photo stream.

alternatively, can do: stop manually importing photos i-devices. photos being added photo stream anyway, can open photo stream in iphoto , copy them events there. they're same files you'd importing anyway - full resolution, not double-compressed , metadata intact (at least iphone 4 , ipad 2).
