Problem installing with Lion!! Cant Repair! Cant boot back to regular 10.6.8

hi everyone, yesterday trying install lion on imac(2008 model) . after dling app app store, following procdure , restarted. after restarted, have few options: install fresh copy of lion, utility, , time machine. wanted install fresh copy wont let me. went utility try erase hd, says busy. when try reapir, said tried 3 times , still cannot fix. after used original install disc came boot computer. worse here because on utility can not see macintosh hd.

problem cant reinstall os , cant boot regular 10.6.8.
