im new apple world , started apple iphone couple of months ago , have since switched on apple ipad , imac 27in display. im loving apple taking bit of getting used after using pc s years. things can figure out myself 1 problem have though burning dvd disk. either aperture or folder on desktop. if burn cd disk no problems. if try burn dvd+rw starts burn process computer freezes. i'm unable stop process , can't shut down. way stop put power cord.
using wrong dvd. should using -rw instead +rw. i'm sure following right process of burning disk.

oh , not forgetting massive hello me fellow apple users out there. sorry took me long join you.
honestly, have worst experiences superdrive (the dvd/cd player/writers in mac's). make tremendous noise, vibrate entire macbook (so replaced ssd), , on imac half of burned dvd's fail.
should write dvd-rw. did try different programs (imovie, disk utility etc). 1 program have problems with?
(it never hurts) reset pram , nvram.
also, make sure have latest updates. there firmware update (although, don't think updates super drive).
