Old iPad settings after transfer

ok, did backup of ipad 1 followed restore new ipad via itunes. plan on keeping ipad 1 turned off cellular connection in settings. have before connect old ipad itunes tell keep prior settings (apps, music, cloud settings etc.) without messing new ipad.

thing did far on ipad 1 go settings , change device name. haven't connected computer , have turned off wifi lest connect cloud , confused. @ moment cellular , wifi off. next?
