im considering new macbook replace first generation aluminum imac. have ipad, think i'd enjoy having full featured laptop me. i'm wondering how of deal smaller hard drives on macbook air. keep of apps , data on external drive? considering external monitor home use.
1 last question. i'm not sure when today's model came out, there expected updates in coming months?

there few options using external storage devices stick larger files on. if 256, that's fair amount of space unless have huge music library. personally, pretty use streaming of media these days, 256 fine.
no 1 knows when new models might come out, best guess sometime summer smaller chance of sometime in late spring.
