Need help repairing volume -- HD doesn't recognize Install Disc

anything else can before taking imac in repair hd recognize install disc?

maintenance using onyx, tested volume , said volume needed repair: insert install disc , repair via disk utility. every time i've tried, "c" button pressed, restart/start shut down takes me right log-in.

27" imac has month-old/allegedly brand new seagate hd (installed apple after initial seagate hd crapped out). think told had install disc/application disc sequence again after bringing home. welcome/bienvenido, etc. message came , went, imac started no problemo, , figured imac go.

 

anyone have fix?
