so starting week ago have pink vertical lines appearing in white spaces, , green vertical lines appearing in black spaces on macbook pro. example of can seen here @ first assumed video card when tested external display got following results. since output fine have determined problem not videocard.
have since brought apple store , told lcd , cost $500 replace. little pissed off $500 huge repair 3 year old laptop.
have noticed when press bottom of case approximately letter 'w' screen goes normal. know mean?
i had similar problem red/pinkish lines on white on 2011 15" mbp , when took apple store determined there wrong display , replaced it. since problem has never come back.
