Is it safe to save passwords in safari?

i got know possible see saved passwords firefox. not use ff in mac.

possible see passwords saved in safari? mac storing personal information , credit card information enter websites? , how safe os x lion when comes online hacking? should firewall software?

 

macos has firewall built it. make sure yours on goto -system preferences-security-firewall.

router should have firewall.

sarfari can store info on computer. see has been stored in safari goto safari-preferences-autofill. click on edit want check user names , passwords , see sites it's saving data or never saving data. i'm not sure how actual data saved think part of security.

there's information cookies under safari-preferences-privacy.
