Is it possible to unlock at&t sim card?

hi there....since got 1st iphone (2007) never had locked one...all of them factory unlocked...

but, got great deal on at&t 4s, used 1 month , saw before buying absinthe make dreams come true....

i'm tmobile client, , wish stay tm, need unlock sim card......

problem iphone 5.0.1 not activated yet...so, understand i'll able at&t sim card...my question is...

1) there way activate 4s without at&t sim card? or i'll need buy pre-paid one?
2) absinthe seems jailbreak iphone, unlock sim card?
3) there way unlock sim card? i'm kind of frustrated right now...and giving iphone money

 

there not software unlock 4s.
