i have 80gb ipod video functions perfectly, except computer won't recognize device. bought on craigslist , formatted windows. i've been searching , trying figure out hours , nothing works.
plug in ipod cord macbook , charges it, doesn't come device on desktop or recognized in itunes. have tried mac , pc same results ipod cable. have current version of itunes , i've tried uninstalling itunes , quicktime see if device show on desktop (it didn't) , reinstalling, , still nothing. feel i've tried every piece of advice available online (obviously basic things resetting doesn't help.
it's annoying can't sync. appreciated.
also, it's weird charging ipod , not showing on computer. maybe because it's not enabled disk use, since itunes doesn't recognize either, there's no way that. when plug pc makes noise when there device, doesn't come in computer, charges it.
