iPad: Turn off touch sensitivity in areas?

i have ipad 2 replaced screen on, went amiss , now, ipad acts though being touched. leads me believe there under glass screwing digitizer. being said, seems right along edge, wondering, there sort of jailbreak tool allow me turn off touch sensitivity in region , set precisely can pinpoint area within few pixels?

 

i know of nothing that
