iFile disappeared files

so other day wanted hide files , hid them in itunes control folder, in lowest level find (now sounds terrible idea). , yesterday discovered gone. gone, gone. not in folder, not in trash. found. think it's because synced itunes, want know, there way recover them? last backup done before had files, that's not option.

help.
