i used redsn0w today , spent few hours no luck. i'm on mac, stitched blob redsn0w, went dfu using redsn0w, hit option restore in itunes, selected new firmware , itunes thing , phone status goes little past half ways itunes error 1...so use redsn0w out of recovery mode boots recovery mode (cable plugging itunes symbol on phone) tried tinyumbrella kick out of recovery , goes spinning wheel on phone , couple of minutes til apple logo spinning wheel on , over. doing wrong?? should try rebuild ipsw , try again or did miss step?
guess not many people have done this...i tried on 4th gen ipod , worked perfect, redid on iphone , same thing. give up...
