i own verizon iphone 4s, , have $30 2gb data plan. had thought switching at&t when 4s came out, because of hspa+ , $30 3gb data, decided not because cost money (i in family plan on verizon , pay data). said, considering buying at&t version of new ipad , canceling data on 4s. because verizon , at&t won't installing lte in area until @ least late 2012 or sometime in 2013, might pay same amount of money 1gb more , faster data. have questions /concerns doing though.
1. under 2 year contract verizon, can still cancel data plan , use phone, correct?
2. if jb ipad , tethering app(yes know may awhile until new ipad jb), can connect internet on verizon 4s through at&t ipad, correct?
3. there kind of activation or re-activation fee at&t ipad? research, have come conclusion there no kind of re-activation fee, wanted make sure/hear has done it. if true, able re-activate data ipad whenever want , not worry paying fee.
believe of concerns had. if, can answer @ least 1 of them or add constructive thread, thank you.
1.) it's understanding verizon , at&t won't allow use of iphones without data plan.
2.) it's possible, said #1, you'll have data on 4s.
3.) no activation fee tablet data plans. use when , turn off when like. (never had 1 can't confirm. there may 1 @ first, not every time use it.)
