10.7.3 Fails to installs

this second day mac. tried run system update , individual apps installed no problem 10.7.3 combo update downloads fine fails install. ideas on how remedy this? im new apple computers not know how approach this.

 

well installed today. difference attempt was connected power source vs. battery power.
