Possibility to downgrade in near future?

am 1 think apple should implement legitimate way downgrade ios on idevices? reason why feel necessary because newer versions may not work way want them to.

example: have old ipod touch(2nd gen) , smooth , fast when first bought it, on time new versions of os came out began slow down. bothers me because choppy , applications crashes often(especially safari). understand ios running on legacy hardware given option go days when ipod ran lightning speed.

held updating after 3.0 because laggy enough is. due chances in life, ipod runs problems forces user full restore.(this part forces download latest ios before can restore).

want idevices allow downgrade-ability. mean can downgrade lion snow leopard, why not idevices? maybe when apple decides marry ios , mac os x day can start downgrading idevices well.

no, people think opposite ones calling shots. it's not going happen.
