Mp4 files, what's their maximum time limit, can one be 24 hours long?

hello everyone,

have searched answer , found help, situation unique.

combining 6 m4v files single one. have attempted mpeg streamclip, quicktime , few others.

problem can 3 combined total of 10 hours, when in fact 6 should 24 hours.

themselves, playable both in itunes , on atv. they're straight dvd rips transcoded handbrake using the apple tv 2 preset.

each file 4gb each, total 24gb. 6 appendices of lotr, , want 1 single large file. used dvision strip correct vobs , make single files of each part, want 1 long, endless appendice.

suggestions? don't want convert them prores combine them in fcp, time involved that.
