New Hard drive Question

i have 500gb updating 1tb on weekend backup , external hard drive using ccc, ive tested can boot external im sure backup.

when swap internal simple booting external, go disk utlitiy, format new hard drive, run ccc , "backup" source , new black hard drive target , hit clone?

best way or if have time should clean install of lion using bootable dvd, drag , drop data backup, concerned movies, music, , pictures

dont have many apps can re-install 1 @ time

 

your method should work. downfall won't have lion recovery partition on new drive. computer support internet-booted recovery option (not lion download, actual boot-from-net)? if so, won't concern.
