iPod Touch and Find my iPhone

i have registered ipod touch along iphone , ipad. cloud finds iphone , ipad, not ipod touch, when using search. send message touch, , can remotely lock it, cannot locate it.

missing something, or can locate if idevice has 3g chip?

the ipod touch locates wifi triangulation , known access point locations. takes few weeks apple update database include network , location.
