bought unlocked 32g iphone 4s apple store @ beginning of november. phone works great except actual phone feature.
when make/receive call call quality fine , conversation happens unable end call, switch keypad, speakerphone, etc. nothing on screen responds, blink recognize pressing nothing happens.
particularly big problem because live in apartment building , unable buzz people in when call lobby, also, work home , making several calls day , unable end call when goes voicemail , not want leave message. way end restart phone in middle of call (lock button+home button).
if finished conversation , person on other end of line disconnects, phone end call , revert homescreen unable click/access on until lock screen , unlock or restart it.
have applecare , phone still under warranty.
have called apple , instructed me wipe phone , factory restore, didn't work.
yesterday, went in apple store , replaced phone.
morning made call , problem still there. unfortunately, doesn't every time , didn't in apple store when there (with either phone)
has experienced this??? advice @ all??? @ complete loss. want badly love phone @ moment trying keep anger in check spent $800 on phone can't used phone.
ps. in canada , carrier bell, don't think effect function of hardware.
i have & i'm on iphone 3gs. it's ios 5 bug. as, i've heard other users of iphones ios 5 explain same exact problem.
never had problem on 3gs on ios 4, nor did hear complaints it.
