hook up a airport extreme to fios router

i have read posts on here , searched web instructions none have worked. have verizon fios wireless router , apple time machine. have hooked time machine fios router , tried configure it. can wifi not internet. tried bridge mode , did not work. there easy solution?

 

connect two, put router in bridge mode, reboot both router , modem/router.
