Accessing broken pc from Air

work toughbook, isn't tough, has broken screen after frustrating half hour failing send email 382kb attachment (which task iphone managed in less 2 seconds).

i'll replacement pretty soon, there files need on hard drive. drive encrypted, putting in external enclosure no good. screen broken, , don't have monitor. have user account, can't install software. there way use air display?

 

this going tough without display....you might able setup target disk mode...( see link) in order copy files across, without display it's going can do. may not work on encrypted drive.

best option assuming laptop has vga port, beg, borrow monitor...then can see doing.
