How do I stop apps downloading to all devices?

at moment if download app iphone download itunes aswell, when sync sons ipod appears in well. how stop this? son has different icloud id uses itunes account buy apps etc

 

connect ipod itunes, select it, go 'apps' tab. untick 'automatically sync new apps'.

if don't want automatically download itunes @ all, go 'preferences', 'store' , untick 'apps' in 'automatic downloads'
