HELP software update stopped working!

i'm on snow leopard 6.8 , software update keeps giving me update “apple software installer update” can’t saved. network error has occurred. check internet connection, , try again.

i've tried individually , group installs.

ironically 1 of updates says addresses error correct software updates not installing.

know away around this? it's not network problem on end. there glitch? read java update might need , can't either.

 

you can manually download 'apple software installer update' http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1512
once you've done rest going work. if not can java update (and others) http://support.apple.com/downloads/
