first off new member forum, though have been reading posts on here awhile. familiar apple products extent, have iphone 4s , ipad 2, both of love! however, have never had mac computer considering new imac. pc dell that's 5 years old , not quick used though it's still usable. but, after trying out imacs few times @ best buy , apple store, one, considering amount of time spend on computer. question is...which 1 work best me? i'm hoping can feedback on this.
i'm in grad school working on thesis spend lot of time writing , rewriting. have old documents saved microfilm view on computer. teach part time @ local 2 year college , classes have online component spend fair amount of time online , reading , sending emails. create lot of presentations , such. games fun i'm not hardcore gamer. video editing, more along lines of imovie stuff. stuff google earth don't think that's overly taxing on processor or memory. want make sure whatever able keep awhile. @ least long dell.
know kind of long post wanted give info possible. i'm aware there may refresh in near future i've been 1 buy product after bugs have been worked out (the iphone 4s being exception). i'm pretty sure don't need top end 27". i'm more concerned difference between 21.5" base, 21.5 2.7ghz i5, , 27" base. there noticeable difference in processors , gpu? also, think 27" screen worth money? again, apologies length of post.
screen size personal choice you'll have decide on. in experience smaller screen more large enough tasks mention. there's no reason can see other base model.
