What do they mean by the text will be more "sharper" on the new iPad?

so today fiddled friend's ipad 2. browsing through net , zoomed in close possible , text crisp clear. can't more crisp that. there literally no pixels.

 

i'm nitpicking because think meant, there couldn't have been "literally no pixels" there's no such thing screen no pixels.

idea of sharpness if move eyes closer , closer screen, you'll make out pixels. ipad 2 new ipad, can closer screen without seeing pixels.
