A file on my desktop that I can't delete or move! Help!

after plugging in else's external harddrive (i wanted transfer picture files on macbook), file named "client node" appeared on desktop. shown blank file, opens blank folder, , displays nothing if right click , view "get info". if attempt delete dragging trash, displays error message: "the item 'client node' cannot moved trash because cannot deleted." if right click on it, there no option delete file.

how go in removing file thing?

 

you can't empty trash or move file trash
solving trash problems
can't move files trash
