How unlucky? Back to Apple store tomorrow.

short story: second "new ipad 3" has screen no audio. heading apple store tomorrow... again.

long story:
pre-ordered 16gb black verizon ipad3 (screen perfect) realized 16gb no longer enough new apps/games/photos/videos started fill precious 16gb of storage space quickly. don't me wrong, i'm content streamer, not content loader 16gb enough older ipad1 , ipad2.

anyhow, decided exchange 16gb 32gb. since both ipad1 , ipad2 had perfect screens, thought nothing of , didn't bother open while @ store. lesson learned. @ home, saw uneven pink/green screen decided wait few days see if disappear. didn't , bothered me enough take trip apple store.

credit, apple employee helpful , provided exchange without hesitation. understanding because still under 14-day no questions asked period? knows, i'm not 1 leave them decide if ipad screen acceptable or not.

anyhow, opened new replacement ipad in-store , had improved screen (was not nice 16gb, able live it). of course, never crossed mind test audio. i've read many forum posts bad screens, have never seen bad audio post.

i'm @ home restored ipad via icloud (thumbs apple super easy restore process!)... ready fire imovie trailers app take in more retina display beauty , realized there no audio. wth? wasn't muted (tried lock/unlock switch, reboot, hard reset, full wipe/restore... tried google search gave me).

this, speakers work... in settings > general > sounds adjusting volume slider causes audible jingle; however, volume slider doesnt show in apps. tried multiple apps, youtube, music, abc player.. same result.

here's catcher, when plug in headphones, volume slider shows , works.. when remove headphones slider disappears again. huh? yes, tried unplugging/replugging headphone jack million times too.

anyhow, wanted share story folks. i'm not angry, know apple store make things right. though purchased applecare+, i'm glad happened within first 14days.

don't want go through lottery ipad screen. oh well, apple store tomorrow. wish me luck. =)
