lte has seen broadest adoption far in united states, there still rolling out verizon being furthest along plans. apple hard-pressed hold out entire year before supporting lte in ipad 4, although have suggested ipad 3 lte appear later wi-fi-only models or limited geographic distribution in markets lte deployment furthest along.
