i have ultimate latest imac @ home need can work on when i'm away it. i'm not expecting greater performance need works xcode without trouble. i'm not sure if 2 gb ram slow xcode experiences? should wait month or see if going release ivy bridge version? please let me know comments. thanks.
the biggest issue xcode size of sdks decide download. there shouldn't performance issue @ all. of time spent in ide editing code. compiling fast , simulation (of ios) or running app in os x should run fine on 'air choose. if go 11 in 'air, @ least upgrade storage or carry around usb disk huge sdks.
