Mail Problem?

turned on imac today, , noticed problem mail.
there little icon (~) in inbox. every time try check email, keeps asking me passwords accounts. no matter do, keeps asking same thing on , on again. suggestions?

i had same thing. when fill in username , password, sure check "save keychain" box. worked me, unless problem in mail server.
