I need Help...

i have iphone 4, ios 5.0.1, jailbroken untethered redsn0w. downloaded cydia app signal, , when rebooted, couldn't signal on vodafone carrier. (keep in mind, iphone factory unlocked, not using ultrasn0w, or such tool.)

installed ultrasn0w cn, , thankfully worked on baseband. problem is, don't want there! whenever reboot, lose signal 15 minutes, after "unknown" caller calls, , gradually regain signal! (weird, right?) spent little on unlocked version come hell or high water, @ least still signal. doesn't seem happen anymore.

appreciated. sorry being n00b...

ps since don't require unlocking jailbreak necessary?
