Controlling USB audio with keyboard?

hey guys,

tried searching here , google answer, couldn't find anything...

want know is, there way control volume of usb device (fiio e7 in particular) keyboard volume buttons?

way far worked connecting e7 usb charge, connect normal 3.5mm cable headphone jack of imac.

i'd rather not have use 2 cables want, if has suggestions, let 'em fly!
