If the Retina display does text automatically...


...why did kindle app need update make text within books retina-sharp? web pages, etc, terrific on retina display, assume because ipad supposed "retinise" text automatically...
 

the text may have done automatically, rest of app (graphics , interface elements) not , need updated anyway
