How do you guys feel about Lenovo?

my mom's old dell crashed on friday , has been trying decide on new computer. mac out of price range. suggested lenovo u400, want hear other people's opinions.

i think they're great. have lenovo laptop in house, , brother has one, too. they're good, they're not pretty, either.


i'd consider getting 1 in ~3 years if windows 8 turns out good, lenovo ultrabooks competitive, , if os x 10.9 (or whatever) ends more ipad, pretty useless, imo.
