has seen this? it's starting drive me insane:
when using itunes, listening particular tune, i'm expecting itunes continue on next tune on album playing. shuffle off. itunes will, @ end of song, move song in library, regardless of artist, genre, etc.
example, you're listening artist a, cd songs 200-210. @ end of #205, , you're expecting #206, move play next tune - #253, artist b, , genre altogether. if you're listening #208, though, you'll #209...
have @ least dozen albums happens, (or more). seems redirect same 4 or 5 albums, too. own of albums in question - of them ripped cd @ 1 point in time or another; none itunes purchases. , - didn't - @ 1 point, well-behaved.
thing seems make sense me library has been on several hard drives on years, , maybe database corrupt. there way clean , make itunes behave properly, or going have re-rip of music new itunes database?
itunes database 5,736 songs, 17:15:36:10 total time, 46.31gb - near huge, compared people know, still royal pia re-rip...
ideas?
i have never, ever experienced behavior in itunes. thing can think of meta data messed up, , somehow songs albums have become intermixed?
since dozen albums experience behavior, take close @ meta data (get info) albums , see if see cause it.
1 way this: select first track of 1 of albums see strange behavior. open info window. click on next button , see if next sequential track album selected. repeat process until next track selected unexpectedly takes album. examine info data carefully. answer why jumped album should there.
after_thought: in particular, check sort album data in sorting tab. have seen instances sort album name refers album altogether. cause problems seeing.
