is there place can hardware diagnostics without install disc? have 2006 imac freezing , once in while getting line across screen. smart status showed failing hdd, after replacing machine froze again right away, 1 far. have read reports of issues these machines, , little worried now.
if not apple diagnostics there else?
nope, have have original install discs shipped machine. might lucky, call applecare , nominal cost if still have ship them you. need serial number , credit card.
