as popularity comparison qualify own forum, isn't privacy, anonymity, , security bigger interest "distributed computing seti, folding, etc..."?
torproject lacks own web forum, mac users might come here tor (on mac, usually).
they might, don't. haven't seen thread asking tor in weeks before 1 responded yesterday (which 2010). security & privacy forum interesting idea (a lot better of other suggested forums recently), still don't think merits own forum.
