Need recording advice multiple sources to Macbook Pro

ok everyone, need advice in major way! trying video , audio capture put sermons online church. small , due , our set not able find simple , economical solution situation.

have video part covered there no audio captured @ all. prefer capture straight audio equipment there no loss of sound or background noises.

working (forgive me ignorance on part), bose l1 system. has peavy wireless mic in channel 1, , our keyboard in channel 2. have a non powered mixer (peavy) 6 channel has 4 mics, guitar , karaoke machine(for cd's). mixer connected channel 4 on bose.

i'm open suggestions may have. or if there somewhere else should go questions means share too.
in advance assistance on this!

several routes go here, know budget this.

heres quick, easy , cheap solution, not best sound quality , not flexible mixing, achieve want do.

http://www.amazon.com/ph62089-stereo-mini-male-rca-male-feet/dp/b0001gaoe0

according setup described, this.

1) plug rca end of cable rca outputs of bose l1

2) plug 1/8" male end of cable line input of macbook pro.

3)in whatever recording software you're using on mac, go audio preferences. select "built in line input" audio input device.

4) check levels on macbook pro , make necessary gain adjustments clean signal recording.

downsides solution:

- inferior audio quality compared using multi channel audio interface converter
- inflexible mixing. since recorded 2-track stereo audio file, lu can't go in , adjust volume of indivdual audio sources.

here better solution costs bit of money far more flexible mixing , recording. can buy audio interface 8 or more input channels, motu 8pre.

motu.com/8pre

witt setup ditch 6-channel mixer altogether , use audio interface mixer run mics, karaeoke machine, etc. macbook pro. record audio sources on own tracks, better mixing afterwards. run outputs of audio interface bose l1 play through speakers while still recording.

downsides:

- cost
- little more complex setup
