Firmware update on 5,1.

hi, have few questions regarding firmware.

1. should upgrade firmware if works fine atm?
2. have 8gb of ram installed. understand years back, firmware had effect on capability. newest update break that?

mb51.007d.b03 on now. update mb51.007d.003 (efi 1.3) available.
1.32f8 (smc 1.2) smc current.
