i run off imac , mbp when mobile, have old windows vista desktop have setup guest pc siblings or guests on , wanna online. problem reason windows pc has done known , started crashing lately; system restores have mysteriously disappeared, , safe mode works sluggishly. bootup diagnostics pointed smart failure on hard drive , suggested replacing it. know it's not easy duplicate windows system on new hard drive. i'm hoping suggestions how so.
have tools remove hd , connect mac, don't want manually backup data , reinstall os new hard drive , copy on data. ideally there'd application allows me clone connected drive onto image , slam image onto new drive, while still being bootable.
please out there has idea or experience this. keeping pc around pain enough, don't want have complete new setup. lol
you can give winclone try. people swear it, i've never been able work me.
