new mac user - had thing 3 weeks. trying use "terminal" make files visible. got error in terminal window, , couldn't type in commands. figured i'd restart computer clear out whatever oddness causing that.
won't reboot. can't forces me put in password log on.
can do? returning high on list, need @ least recover work i've done on in past few weeks.
have tried of these steps?
