Lion gets all sluggish, especially Safari

hi,

else find lion pretty sluggish time time? find spinning wheel appears in safari @ weird times , takes 20/30 seconds go away.

find preview app takes way long start also.

seems @ times slower old g4 powerbook running panther.

i've 2011 macbook 4gb memory came snow leopard, upgraded lion upon purchase. purely memory issue or bad coding issue? might there eventual fix , should hope improve or should more memory now?

 

i upgraded mid 2009 mbp 4 8 gb ram thinking make lion faster. honestly, hasn't done whole lot overall performance. apps, however, such lightroom.

unless 10.7.3 fixes performance, have feeling lion going slower , more of battery hog we're used to. unfortunate, really.
