With ATV3 anticipation, should I keep my blu-ray mkvs or attempt a 1080p transcode?

hey everyone,

feels right apple may update atv line in few weeks 1080p because of proposed ipad3 screen , rumors in past studios submitting 1080p itunes.

in midst of beginning transcode blu-ray collection.

naturally, handbrake can handle 720p fine atv2 preset. understanding that preset designed work in apple's requirements atv2 (but need 1080p in future since watch movies on 91" projector).

question is, should wait see atv3 ends being , handbrake release preset new 1080p atv (that is, hold onto mkvs time being)?

or should attempt transcoding mkvs 1080p?

original plan make 2 versions time being, 720p , 1080p. can gather, changing resolution in handbrake 1920x1080 not quality, since need decrease rf well, though not sure number. hence dilemma, should wait atv3 come out know its' limitations or can suggest rf 1080p files in realm of usable on proposed atv3?

handbrake presets based upon tvs can handle. since no 1 has tv3 yet, no 1 knows can handle. you'd guessing @ best if went ahead , based on- say- tv2 preset @ 1080 instead of 720p.

own guess iphone 4s 1080p balance of quality & compression apple choose. rumor march 7 or so, why not wait, see if new tv , stand while handbrake rolls out updated preset new device (hopefully quickly).

along 1080p, there's possibility audio options besides dd5.1. know, next tv go out in capabilities able go toe-to-toe blu ray in both video & audio.
