Will the First Generation iPod Nano become a collector's item?

with these people returning apple, seems there's slight possibility. i'm contemplating keeping ipod nano sentimental reasons , possibility of collector's item.

i've read on few forums if ask nicely, original nano after replacement.

thoughts?

 

there minimum of several 100,000 of them around many, many years come. collector value in unopened nano unless willing wait 25 30 more years.
