Texture on white backgrounds

there appears texture glass of ipad not present on ipad 2 or iphone 4. visible when scrolling on white backgrounds , looks screen dirty. effect similar of using antiglare screen protector more subtle , not uniform. idea cause of may be? i'm thinking underside of glass dirty. others seeing this.
