as of know there bit of wi-fi issue in lion. 1 of poor fools couldn't standing , working length of time connection net.
gave up. went 10.6. read boards. talked apple. jazz.
airport express, first generation, has past 6 months been flickering out on me. having unplug , plug in working. doing every 2-3 hours. bricked , ordered new airport express. posted thread on forum asking if maybe getting new 1 might fix problem. consensus no.
set while still on 10.6 , couldn't work. reason wouldn't show in airport utility. when did , ran setup through wouldn't stay connected cable modem. rebooted, restarted...etc, etc. randomly started work. great. awesome.
figured why not download 10.7.2 , see if having new aex worked. did yesterday. let installer sit in apps folder while. building courage. read on "hacks" or "fixes" try. yesterday tried and....
....wi-fi works. thing did renew lease inside network preferences. maybe that. maybe new aex. reset pram, too. knows did it.
glad able use lion finally. curious investigators of strange ailment macs falling under i'll provide firmware wi-fi chip running.

not sure if that's same in 10.6.8, there is.
